Cobra colors are high quality colors specially developed for your car models.

The range is acrylic-based but has properties similar to lacquer paints, meaning they offer unrivaled coverage and durability. They are self-levelling, thanks to which they are very easy to use. They are non-toxic and odorless. Suitable for use with both a brush and a spray gun. All products can be mixed to create an infinite number of different colors and tones. The range of colors also includes lacquer varnish(A.MIG-2261), hardener (Hardener A.MIG-2262), paint thinner and cleaner for varnish(A.MIG-2263) and paint thinner and cleaner for paints (A.MIG-2260).

Cobra Motors paint application:

Before spraying with an airbrush, it is necessary to dilute the paint. The paint can be thinned as needed, but mostly it is in the ratio thinner/paint - 30/70% to 60/40%. The paint is thinned using the thinner A-MIG-2260 (Cobra Motor Acrylic Thinner) or the standard thinner A.MIG-2000 (Acrylic Thinner). For use with a brush, you can dilute the paint with a bit of water, but it is not necessary.

Use standard air pressure for spraying depending on what your particular airbrush is or your personal preference. Under standard circumstances, the pressure should be set to 1.5 bar - 22psi.

The paint is dry to the touch in about 20 minutes. It dries completely within 24 hours. The dried surface of the paint is matte.

Application of 2K Cobra Motor Lacquer:

Two-component epoxy lacquer. It serves to create an original shiny surface just like real vehicles.

Unlike Cobra Motor paints, the paint is toxic. Use a mask and ventilate well.

Before spraying, make sure that there are no impurities such as dust on the surface of the model. Mix 2 parts of lacquer A.MIG-2261 (Cobra Motor Clear Lacquer 2K) to one part of hardener A.MIG-2262 (Cobra Motor Hardener for 2K Lacquer). In the case of a higher density, you can thin the varnish with A.MIG-2263 thinner. First spray a thin coat of paint, let it dry for 2 minutes and then apply a thicker coat at low pressure (about 1 bar-14 psi) to create a "wet" coat of paint on the surface. Apply the varnish in one continuous movement from the beginning to the end of the model. After spraying, you can clean the spray gun with A.MIG-2263 (Cleaner & Thinner for 2K Clear Lacquer). Cover the model with, for example, a clean container and let it dry for 24-48 hours. In the case of dirt on the surface, just sand them lightly and repeat the procedure with a smaller amount of varnish.

Modeling acrylic paint intended for painting or spraying on plastic, polyurethane, metal, wood, ceramics, textiles, or on any other suitable surface. Non-flammable base, dries quickly - after 20 minutes the surface can be repainted, fully dries within 24 hours. A well-dried base color creates a hard, durable surface that can be lightly sanded under water with fine sandpaper to achieve an absolutely perfect surface.

Not suitable for children under 8 years old. Children's work with paint must always be supervised by an adult. In case of contact with eyes and mucous membranes, rinse with clean water and seek medical attention. In case of ingestion, do not induce vomiting, seek medical help immediately. Do not drink or eat the contents of the container, do not rub it on your skin.

Good tip: This acrylic paint is used to color the surface of a model, for example. Before painting or spraying with the final surface color, it is a good idea to spray the surface with some shade of the base color, depending on what surface color you will subsequently paint the model with. Under the light shades of the surface colors, it is advisable to use a corresponding light shade of the base. Subsequent work with colors is much more convenient and the result is absolutely perfect.

Mix the paint well before use. Apply to a well-degreased, dry, clean surface. After work, always close the container tightly, the paint dries due to air access. Always wipe the top of the container dry, do not let the paint residue dry even on the edge. This will extend the shelf life of the paint after resealing.

Thinning: Use only original thinner. When using a thinner of another brand, the color may deteriorate. Clean water is also suitable for thinning when painting, the use of a thinner is recommended for spraying.

Painting: The paint is supplied in such a density that it can be used immediately. It is thus suitable for painting smaller surfaces and parts with a brush. For small repairs, it can be applied with a brush gradually in several layers. If necessary, dilute it with water or thinner.

Spraying: For spraying, the paint must be diluted significantly. It is usually necessary to test the dilution ratio individually according to the type of spray gun and whether you are spraying an area or a line.

Drying time: Against the touch, the paint literally dries "before your eyes" within a few minutes. Drying can be accelerated by using a hair dryer. For further brushing/spraying with a new layer, it is enough to wait 30-40 minutes for the original layer to dry. Complete drying takes approximately 24 hours.

Cleaning: Wash immediately with water after use. While the paint is fresh, it can be completely washed off without leaving any traces. To clean the spray gun, we recommend Tamiya Airbrush Cleaner, Revell Airbrush Cleaner, or another brand.
