A new revolutionary series of acrylic modeling paints ATOM by AMMO, which combines 20 years of experience with paints in one 20 ml bottle. Paints can be used for painting and spraying all types of models or dioramas, regardless of their material, be it plastic, resin, photoetching, metal, wood, foam, putty, etc. They are ideal for use on models such as military vehicles, aircraft, civilian vehicles, model railways, sci-fi, ships, submarines, dioramas, figures, wargaming and board games, and even remote control models and toy cars.

The colors are made with an ultra-fine water-based pigment that does not give them any unpleasant odor and can be diluted / cleaned with water or Cleaner & Thinner AMIG20500.

Their properties are similar to lacquer paints, which means they offer unrivaled coverage and durability. They are self-levelling and dry to the touch within 10 minutes. These properties mean that ATOM paints are easy to apply with both a brush and a spray gun, achieving perfect coverage without losing the finest details. The result is a smooth, uniform, durable and matte surface.

Modeling acrylic paint intended for painting or spraying on plastic, polyurethane, metal, wood, ceramics, textiles, or on any other suitable surface. Non-flammable base, dries quickly - To the touch after 10 minutes, after 1 hour the surface can be repainted and fully dries within 24 hours. A well-dried base color creates a hard, durable surface that can be lightly sanded under water with fine sandpaper to achieve an absolutely perfect surface.

Not suitable for children under 8 years old. Children's work with paint must always be supervised by an adult. In case of contact with eyes and mucous membranes, rinse with clean water and seek medical attention. In case of ingestion, do not induce vomiting, seek medical help immediately. Do not drink or eat the contents of the container, do not rub it on your skin.

Good tip: This acrylic paint is used to color the surface of a model, for example.Before painting or spraying with the final surface color, it is a good idea to spray the surface with some shade of the base color, depending on what surface color you will subsequently paint the model with. Under the light shades of the surface colors, it is advisable to use a corresponding light shade of the base. Subsequent work with colors is much more convenient and the result is absolutely perfect.

Mix the paint well before use.Apply to a well-degreased, dry, clean surface. After work, always close the container tightly, the paint dries due to air access. Always wipe the top of the container dry, do not let the paint residue dry even on the edge. This will extend the shelf life of the paint after resealing.

Thinning: Use only original thinner. When using a thinner of another brand, the color may deteriorate. Clean water is also suitable for thinning during painting, the use of thinner (Cleaner & Thinner AMIG20500) is recommended for spraying.

Painting: The paint is supplied in such a density that it can be used immediately. It is thus suitable for painting smaller surfaces and parts with a brush. For small repairs, it can be applied with a brush gradually in several layers. If necessary, dilute it with water or thinner.

Spraying: For spraying, the paint must be diluted significantly. It is usually necessary to test the dilution ratio individually according to the type of spray gun and whether you are spraying an area or a line. The dilution ratio can range from 1:1 to 1:3 (paint: thinner), but if necessary, you can dilute it appropriately with thinner (or a small amount of water), even more.

Drying time: Against the touch, the paint literally dries "before your eyes" within a few minutes. Drying can be accelerated by using a hair dryer. For further painting/spraying with a new layer, just wait 30-60 minutes for the original layer to dry. Complete drying takes approximately 24 hours.

Cleaning: Wash immediately with water after use. While the paint is fresh, it can be completely washed off without leaving any traces. To clean the spray gun, we recommend Tamiya Airbrush Cleaner, Revell Airbrush Cleaner, or another brand.
