Modeling acrylic-epoxy (lacquer) paint intended for painting or spraying with an airbrush on plastic, metal, wood, ceramics, textile or other suitable surface.
Tamiya Lacquer acrylic-epoxy paints are very versatile - whether you use them in an airbrush spray gun or paint fine details with a brush, you will always achieve consistent tones that give your model a perfect look. Their durable film is ideally suited for use as a primer, resistant to other colors (e.g. synthetic - enamel), while quick drying guarantees an efficient and quick procedure when painting the model.

Not suitable for children under 8 years old. Children's work with paint must always be supervised by an adult. Flammable, dangerous fumes, thoroughly ventilate the room during work. Do not use open flames and sources of sparks. Do not store near heat sources. Do not eat, drink or smoke while working. In case of contact with eyes and mucous membranes, rinse with clean water and seek medical attention. In case of breathing problems, provide fresh air, ventilate. In case of ingestion, do not induce vomiting, seek medical help immediately. Do not drink or eat the contents of the container, do not rub it on your skin.

Mix the paint well before use. Apply to a well-degreased, dry, clean surface. After opening, use as soon as possible, the paint dries due to exposure to air. Always wipe the top of the bottle dry, do not let paint residues dry even on the edge of the neck thread. This will prevent the lid from sticking and extend the shelf life of the paint after it is closed again.

Thinning: Use only original Tamiya 82110 or Tamiya 87077 Lacquer Thinner. If you use another thinner, the color may deteriorate.

Surface preparation: To improve the adhesion of the paint and the resulting surface of the model is more beautiful, we recommend using Tamiya Surfacer base paint in a spray or in a bottle.

Painting: For painting, it is advisable to leave the paint in a thicker form, to dilute it with an appropriately small amount of thinner. When painting non-absorbent materials (plastic, metal, glass,...) it is usually not necessary to prepare the surface with a base paint and usually one layer of paint is enough for good coverage. When painting absorbent surfaces (for example, wood), it is advisable to use a base color first, or to apply the first layer of a thicker color and after it has dried thoroughly (at least 24 hours), cover it with a second thin layer of paint.

Spraying: For airbrush spraying, the paint is usually diluted in a ratio of 1 part of thinner to 1 part of paint, but the thinner can be appropriately more, depending on the type of spray gun and other spraying parameters.

Drying time: The paint dries to the touch in a few minutes, but it takes at least 1 hour to fully dry, depending on the thickness of the layer. It is recommended to wait at least 2 hours for the next coating/spraying with a new layer.

Cleaning: Just use Tamiya thinner to clean the brush. To keep the brush in good condition, we recommend using Tamiya Brush Conditioning Fluid 23ml 87181. To clean the spray gun, we recommend Tamiya Airbrush Cleaner Acryl 250ml 87089.
