A practically finished semi-model of an acrobatic glider made of extruded polypropylene foam (EPP) with an AC motor.
The fuselage of the EPP model is supplied with a mounted AC motor with a rotating casing (CD4108, performance between AXI 2808 and AXI 2814), folding propeller, with installed AC regulator and rudder and elevator servos. It is possible to use Li-Pol accumulators 3-cells 1600 - 2600 mAh with a load capacity of min. 20C. The horizontal tail surface from EPP is removable - it is attached to the fuselage with two screws. The wing made of EPP is two-part, slid from the side onto the carbon coupling. The ailerons are controlled by two servos stored in the wing. The landing gear consists of a landing gear with a semi-submerged main wheel and a small spur wheel.
To control the model, min. 5-channel RC kit. In that case, both aileron and flap servos are connected to one channel using a Y-cable (included in the package). When connecting the receiver, it is necessary to follow the instructions for the used RC kit. At least a 7-channel computerized RC kit that allows independent control of aileron and flap servos is ideal.
The FOX 2300 is designed for moderately advanced modelers who have mastered piloting a model with controlled wings.
