The American sports high-wing aircraft produced since 1949 was a modernized version of the legendary pre-war J-3 model. At first glance, it was distinguished by an engine (according to the version with up to twice the power) carefully hooded under a new engine cover and lift flaps. Over 9,000 Super Cubs were built during the 40 years of production, a significant number of which are still flying today.

The model of the new Piper - in an elegant grey-white color - made of almost indestructible EPO foam in the sky thanks to the span of 1700 mm, you will definitely not miss it. Large dimensions, attractive appearance, pleasant flight characteristics, wheeled landing gear and a set of floats - an ideal recreational model for every more advanced pilot...

The model's EPO foam fuselage comes with a C3541-750 rotary shroud AC motor fitted, with a 45A AC regulator fitted and rudder and elevator servos. In the upper part of the front there is a space for accumulators easily accessible thanks to the removable cover. For Piper, you will need Li-Pol 4-cells 2200-2600 mAh with a load capacity of min. 35C.

The EPO tail surfaces are attached to the fuselage with screws. The rudder and elevator servos are located on the sides in the tail section of the fuselage.
The EPO foam wing with a modified Clark-Y profile is two-part, connected by a carbon joint. Both halves are attached to the hull with screws. Ailerons and flaps are each controlled by two servos stored in the wing with short straight wire rods.

The two-wheel undercarriage with controlled spur is wire, with mock-up covers and sprung. Ailerons, flaps, rudder (with coupled spur), elevator and engine speed are controlled. The wheels are giant balloons, ideal for flying in the tundra and other wilderness.

Floats are EPO foam with wire struts; the left float has a water rudder that controls a special servo stored inside. You will definitely appreciate it when taking off and landing on the water!

To control the model, you will need at least a 5-channel, but preferably at least a 7-channel RC kit, which allows independent control and adjustment of the aileron and flap servos. In that case, you can set the differentiation of aileron deflections; in this way, the control of the model will be more pleasant, which will have a smaller tendency to "float" out of the turn. You can achieve a similar effect by using a wing-rudder mix, or by combining both - with the aileron-rudder mix, you will "catch" the initial transition into the turn, the differentiation will improve your own passage through the turn.

Super Cub is intended for more advanced modelers. The model, as a semi-mockup of a sporty "box-like" high-wing aircraft, will introduce you to some features that are typical for similar machines - you will be required to properly coordinate the control of the model with the turn signal, ailerons and elevator. This experience "like when you find" as soon as you start flying with your first aerobatic model or larger (semi) model of any kind. Its domain is, of course, calm flying, which will give you and your colleagues at the airport enough time to enjoy the legendary "piper" shapes, but after a small "start-up" it reliably handles flips, twisting turns and barrel twists.

The ARF set includes: a finished model with an AC motor, a two-bladed propeller, a speed controller and 6 servos, a set of wheel chassis, a set of floats with struts, a set of small accessories and instructions.
