Basic color designed as a base for working with Revell Aqua acrylic paints. The base color is intended for use with an airbrush.

Not suitable for children under 8 years old. Children's work with paint must always be supervised by an adult. In case of contact with eyes and mucous membranes, rinse with clean water and seek medical attention. In case of ingestion, do not induce vomiting, seek medical help immediately. Do not drink or eat the contents of the container, do not rub it on your skin.

Good tip: This acrylic base color is used to prepare the surface e.g. of the model before applying the surface paint.Choose the shade of the base color according to the surface color you will subsequently paint the model with. Under the light shades of the surface colors, it is advisable to use a corresponding light shade of the base.

Mix the paint well before use.Apply to a well-degreased, dry, clean surface. After opening, use as soon as possible, the paint dries due to exposure to air. Always wipe the top of the can dry, do not let the paint residue dry even on the edge of the can. This will extend the shelf life of the paint after resealing.

Thinning: Use plain clean water or only the original Revell Aqua Color Mix 39621 thinner. Using other thinners may result in color deterioration.

Painting: For painting, it is advisable to leave the paint in a thicker form, diluting it only with a small amount of water/thinner. When painting non-absorbent materials (plastic, metal, glass,...) it is usually recommended to prepare the surface with a base color and usually one layer of paint is enough for good coverage. When painting absorbent surfaces (for example, wood), it is not necessary to use a base paint, it is enough to apply the first layer of thicker paint and after it dries thoroughly, cover it with a second thin layer of paint.

Spraying: For spraying, the paint is usually diluted in a ratio of 1 part water/thinner to 1 part paint, but the thinner can be appropriately more, depending on the type of spray gun and other spraying parameters.

Drying time: Against the touch, the paint literally dries "before your eyes" within a few minutes. Drying can be accelerated by using a hair dryer. Complete drying takes approximately 2 hours, depending on the thickness of the layer. For further painting/spraying with a new layer, just wait a few minutes for the original layer to dry.

Cleaning: Wash immediately with water after use. While the paint is fresh, it can be completely washed off without leaving any traces. After the paint has dried, we recommend the original Revell Aqua Color Clean 39620 cleaner for cleaning the brush. For cleaning the spray gun, we recommend the Revell Airbrush Email Clean 500 ml 39005 cleaner.
