    Product detailed description

    From September 1944, mainly due to the lack of materials, the camouflage shades of the colors on the German vehicles were slightly changed. The yellow color Dunkelgelb RAL 7028 was lightened for the DG I version and later even more so for the DG III version. The green shade Olivgrün RAL 6003 was also lightened and known after the war as Resedagrün RAL 6011. In several cases it even completely replaced Dunkelgelb as the basic camouflage color. The brown shade Schokobraun RAL 8017 remained unchanged for the duration of the war, although in the last weeks before the surrender it was completely replaced by the base red Rotbraun RAL 8012 in several cases.

    These changes, coupled with the development of German camouflage patterns at the end of the war, meant that German vehicles produced in the final months of the conflict presented a different aspect to those produced before, and are therefore of particular interest to modellers. With this Solution Box, you can easily create accurate camouflage and weathering effects on any German vehicle produced from September 1944 until the end of the war.

    In this Solution Box you will not only find the necessary paints, patina preparations and brushes, but also the Solution Book - How to Paint WWII German Late War Vehicles. This book contains explanatory texts in four languages ​​( English, Spanish, French and German). The model used as an example in this one is PHANTER Ausf.G Late Production 1/35, TAK2121 by TAKOM.
