Tamiya kit with MB-01 chassis - this time with medium wheelbase and rear engine / rear wheel drive (MR). This kit features the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA Club Racer. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA was developed as a lightweight, tuned racing version of the 2-door Giulia Sprint GT coupe and launched in 1965. 500 units were produced and the factory car became European Touring class champion several times in the late 1960s. Automobile championships; also operated by other racing teams, it caught many eyes on the racing track.

About the Tamiya MB-01 chassis

The compact, 2WD chassis MB-01 offers a choice of three types of wheelbase and front or rear wheel drive system. Without removing the battery module, motor and R/C setup from the center frame, simply change the direction of the final drive and steering mounts to switch between front and rear wheel drive; for cars with rear-wheel drive, it is possible to choose a low or high engine position. The double trapezoidal suspension of 4 wheels has a symmetrical structure and friction shock absorbers. Unitized parts such as motor mount, final drives and suspension make for easy assembly and efficient maintenance.

The kit includes a Tamiya MB-01 chassis kit, ESC, type 540 electric motor, unpainted polycarbonate body, stickers, pictorial building instructions. The stylish rims are paired with racing radial tires. Includes 60mm front and rear tires. Use 60D tires when changing tires. This kit includes decals to create a design inspired by many club racers driven by amateur riders. The Tamiya MB-01 chassis allows for two modifications of the arrangement of the battery, motor and electronics. It is possible to build it in 3 modifications of the wheelbase (long, medium, short), which gives many possibilities of using different bodies.
Separate plastic parts are chromed, they realistically depict the side mirrors.

Tamiya MB-01 chassis. The 2WD drive is provided by a gearbox to the differential of the rear axle. Excellent stability is ensured by placing the accumulator in the transverse axis. The engine is located in front of the rear axle, which improves driving characteristics even more. The chassis allows for two layout modifications.
