Remote control tank model kit (RC model).

The M1A2 Abrams tank has been continuously upgraded since entering service in the 1980s to ensure it remains at the cutting edge of military technology. The M1A2s have been in place since 1992. They were developed to bring cutting edge technology to the M1 into the digital age. Weapons with depleted uranium warheads were also improved, the commander's cupola was modified, etc. In 2003, he took part in the fighting in the conflict in Iraq.
The kit contains plastic and metal unassembled parts and pre-assembled mechanical parts (quality metal gears with 540 motors, slide mechanism, barrel aiming mechanism, turret rotation mechanism). The entire lower part of the model is metal, including all the main parts of the drive (undercarriage parts, suspension arms, drive and idler wheels,...).
The kit includes a 4-channel multifunctional unit ensuring realistic movement, lighting and sound of the model.

The Tamiya Battle System 300053447 (6453447) module can be purchased as a separate accessory, which can be used to simulate a battle with several models.

Needed to purchase: 6-channel tank/truck type RC set (both levers centered), drive battery, charger, paints, glue, common modeling tools for assembling the model.

From our own experience, we recommend:
Carson FS 6K Reflex Stick II 2.4GHz Car/Tank/Boat RC Kit 500501006 (6305010.06), which is tuned from the factory just for use in Tamiya tanks.
Set - Charger Carson Delta Peak 4A set (+8x AA batteries, 1x NiMH 3000mA/7.2V) 500606031 (6306060,31), or alternatively 500606031 (6306060,32)

The model is intended for driving indoors and outdoors on a solid dry surface, under no circumstances can it be driven in water, puddles, mud, sand, tall grass, on public roads and other places (e.g. parking lots) with car traffic . High "hairy" carpets are also unsuitable surfaces. This model is not a toy, requires maintenance and is intended for modelers over 14 years of age.
