UGEARS wooden construction kits of mechanical models are intended for children and adults. All parts are cut with precise laser technology from high-quality plywood. The precision of the parts guarantees convenient assembly of even more complex types of models. Almost all UGEARS models are functional in some way, either in the form of moving parts or thanks to the rubber drive. The models can be disassembled repeatedly, no glue is used for assembly.

Construction procedure
The construction of the model will be accompanied by pictorial instructions. Before starting construction, carefully study the individual parts and the manual itself. When working, you will need simple modeling tools: A sharp modeling knife, a modeling sandpaper or a piece of fine sandpaper or a regular nail file.
Always carefully remove the individual parts from the support plate before use. To separate from the frame, use a sharp knife, just to cut through the thin connector holding the part in the board. You can lightly run a sander around the perimeter of the part to clean the edge from the burnt surface (result of laser burning). Insert the parts into each other according to the individual steps in the instructions. The use of glue is not necessary, but if you want to have the model permanently assembled, you can glue the parts together with a small amount of modeling wood glue.

Tips and advice

• If you want to emphasize and preserve the wooden appearance of the model, you can lightly spray the parts with a layer of spray paint before assembly, lightly sand them with fine sandpaper, and then repaint them. Mild staining with wood stain and subsequent repainting of the parts is also possible.
• If a part wears out or breaks over time, the manufacturer has a service of sending spare parts. That's why it's a good idea to save the manual so you know the part number.
