Good advice: This acrylic paint is used for coloring the surface of, for example, a model. It is a good idea to spray the surface with some shade of the base color before painting or spraying with the final surface color, the shade of it is depending on what surface color you will paint the model with afterwards. It is advisable to use a matching light shade of base colour under light shades of finish paint. Subsequent work with the paints is much more comfortable and the result is absolutely perfect.
Mix the paint well before use. Apply to a well degreased, dry, and clean surface. Always close the container tightly after work, the paint dries with air. Always wipe the top of the lid dry, do not allow paint residue to dry even on the rim. This will prolong the shelf life of the paint after resealing.
Thinning: use only the original thinner. Using another brand of thinner may cause paint to deteriorate. Plain water is also suitable for thinning when painting, the use of thinner is recommended for airbrushing.
Painting: The paint is made in density for immediate use, so it is suitable for painting smaller areas and parts with a brush. For minor repairs, it can be applied by brush gradually in several coats. Thin with water or thinner if necessary.
Airbrushing: Dilution is necessary for airbrushing. Diultion needs to be tested individually according to the type of spray gun and whether you are spraying a surface or a line. The dilution ratio can range from 1:1 to 1:3 (paint:thinner), but you can dilute it appropriately with thinner (or a small amount of water), even more if necessary.
Drying time: against touch, the paint dries literally "before your eyes" within a few minutes. The drying time can be further accelerated by using a hair dryer. To paint/spray a new layer, simply wait 30-40 minutes for the original layer to dry. Complete drying takes approximately 24 hours.
Cleaning: While the paint is fresh, it can be completely washed off without leaving any residue. We recommend Tamiya Airbrush Cleaner, Revell Airbrush Cleaner, or another brand to clean the spray gun.
