Modeling lacquer paint intended for spraying with airbrush on plastic, metal, wood, ceramics, textile or other suitable surface.
AK Interactive's Xtreme Metal lacquer paints are airbrush paints with high quality and covering power that add realistic metallic tones to your model. Their durable film is ideally suited for use as a surface layer, resistant to other products (eg washes, filters, etc.), while fast drying guarantees an efficient and fast procedure when painting the model.

Not suitable for children under 8 years old. Children's work with paint must always be supervised by an adult. Flammable, dangerous fumes, thoroughly ventilate the room during work. Do not use open flames and sources of sparks. Do not store near heat sources. Do not eat, drink or smoke while working. In case of contact with eyes and mucous membranes, rinse with clean water and seek medical attention. In case of breathing problems, provide fresh air, ventilate. In case of ingestion, do not induce vomiting, seek medical help immediately. Do not drink or eat the contents of the container, do not rub it on your skin.

Mix the paint well before use. Apply to a well-degreased, dry, clean surface. After opening, use as soon as possible, the paint dries due to air exposure. Always wipe the cap of the bottle dry, do not let the remaining paint dry even on the edge of the neck thread. This prevents the lid from sticking and extends the shelf life of the paint after it is closed again.

Thinning: Use only the original thinner AK470 - XTREME CLEANER & THINNER. If another thinner is used, the color may deteriorate.

Surface preparation: To improve the adhesion of the paint and make the resulting surface of the model more beautiful, we recommend using a base paint in a spray or bottle. It is advisable to use a black base color under XTREME METAL metallic colors, which will highlight the subsequent metallic effect.

Painting: The paint is not suitable for painting with a brush because it is too thin. For an application it's recommended to use an airbrush.

Airbrushing: When applying paint using an airbrush, it is not necessary to dilute the paint, because the paint is already supplied in a diluted state. For dilution, use only the original thinner (number AK470). The paint is applied under a pressure of approx. 1.5 bar (kg/cm2), but the ideal pressure also depends on the type of airbrush and other spraying parameters. Apply the paint in thin, continuous layers to avoid unwanted accumulation of paint in one place and dripping.

Drying time: The paint dries to the touch within a few minutes, but complete drying takes 1 hour. It is recommended to wait at least 2 hours before spraying with a new layer. For applying washes, pigments, filters, etc. it is recommended to let the paint dry for at least 24 hours.

Cleaning: AK470 - XTREME CLEANER & THINNER is recommended for cleaning the airbrush.
